Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance on Leave of Absence policies, laws, and procedures.
- Process, assess, and monitor all leave requests and claims, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with Payroll and Benefits to ensure correct pay and benefit enrollment for employees on leave.
- Manage return-to-work processes using medical documentation and job requirements.
- Support employees throughout the leave and return-to-work process in alignment with company policy and legal requirements.
- Log all interactions in case/leave management systems and follow standardized processes.
- Deliver high-quality, confidential, and professional customer service.
- Maintain reliable attendance and participate in ongoing training.
- Proactively learn and navigate a document-heavy knowledge base.
- 3–5 years of leave management and/or employee benefits experience, plus 3–5 years in a call or service center environment.
- Customer service, communication, and attentive listening skills.
- Experience with HR or case management systems and general HR administration.
- Highly detail-oriented, able to multitask, and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Dependable, eager to learn, and a collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
- Proficiency in FMLA and Leave Management
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment
- Clear and effective communication of complex information to diverse audiences
