We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our clients finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the organization. The primary focus of this position is managing vendor relationships, processing invoices with high accuracy, and ensuring all financial obligations are met on time. Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable Processing: Receive and verify incoming invoices and check requests, ensuring they match corresponding purchase orders and receiving documents prior to payment.
• Data Entry & Management: Accurately enter and upload invoice data into the company accounting system.
• Payment Execution: Prepare and process payments, including electronic transfers, while monitoring accounts to ensure currency.
• Reconciliation & Resolution: Reconcile accounts payable transactions and actively research and resolve any discrepancies regarding invoices or billing issues.
• Vendor Compliance: Maintain organized vendor files and ensure current W-9 information is secured for all partners.
• Reporting & Audits: Assist the finance team with month-end closing procedures and gather necessary supporting documentation for internal or external audits.
• Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, responding in a professional and timely manner.
• General Support: Assist with other general accounting tasks as directed by the Controller
