Love staying focused, typing fast, and checking things off your list? This role is perfect for someone who enjoys structured work, accuracy, and a little bit of movement throughout the day.

As a Data Entry Specialist, you’ll spend most of your day seated at a workstation entering information from medical files into a database. Every few minutes, you’ll take a short break from typing to move a box of files to and from your workstation. It’s a great balance of desk work with light physical activity.



salary: $13.4 - $18.4 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Schedule

• 5 days per week
  
  
• 9-hour shifts, including:
  
  
  • 30-minute lunch
    
    
  • Two 15-minute breaks
    
    

What You’ll Be Doing

• Pull medical files from storage boxes and identify required data fields
  
  
• Accurately enter information into the client’s database
  
  
• Move one box of files at a time between the pallet and your workstation
  
  
• Return completed files to the box and place it back on the pallet
  
  
• Stay focused and consistent while meeting productivity and accuracy goals
  
  

Most of the work (about 95%) is performed from a seated position. The remaining time involves moving file boxes between pallets and workstations.
