Responsibilities
Compliance & Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of production runs, materials usage, inventory levels, and quality control checkpoints to ensure compliance with company standards and industry specifications (e.g., ASTM A1064/A1064M).
Data Entry & Management: Accurately input production data into the ERP/inventory management system, including tracking job completion status, material consumption, and waste.
Reporting: Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management, highlighting key metrics, schedule adherence, and potential administrative roadblocks.
Scheduling Facilitation: Coordinate with the Production Manager to manage and communicate the daily production schedule, ensuring all departments (Cutting, Welding/Manufacturing, Staging) are aligned on priorities and deadlines.
Logistics Administration: Act as the primary administrative liaison for inbound raw materials and outbound finished product logistics, ensuring all necessary shipping paperwork (BOLs, manifests, etc) is prepared accurately and on time.
Cross-Departmental Hub: Facilitate clear and timely communication between Sales, Production, and Shipping/Receiving to resolve documentation discrepancies, and adjust schedules based on material availability.
Inventory Control: Administratively track and reconcile inventory movements within the facility, assisting in periodic cycle counts and ensuring system inventory matches physical stock for key reinforcement materials.
