Responsibilities
1. Employee Relations & Performance Management
- First point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Provide guidance and support to managers on coaching, corrective action, and performance improvement plans
- Assist in resolving employee conflicts
- Administer and coordinate the company's performance review process (e.g., annual reviews, check-ins)
- Support the full-cycle recruitment process, including drafting job descriptions, posting open positions, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
- Facilitate a positive and comprehensive new hire onboarding experience, including conducting orientation and processing new hire paperwork
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and recommend opportunities for improvement
- Administer and maintain employee benefit programs (e.g., health, dental, 401k), including handling enrollment, changes, and annual open enrollment
- Process and track employee leave of absence requests (FMLA, ADA, etc.) in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures, including the employee handbook
- Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics (e.g., turnover, headcount) to support data-driven decision-making
