Responsibilities

• IP & Library Maintenance: Calendar upcoming trademark deadlines and ensure the physical and digital law library remains current and organized.
• Case Coordination: Facilitate the opening and closing of legal files and provide administrative support to ensure project alignment with outside counsel.
• Foundational Research: Perform preliminary legal research and gather relevant case law or statutes to assist attorneys in drafting formal memoranda.
• Regulatory & Liaison Tasks: Serve as a junior point of contact for the TABC and other regulatory agencies to handle routine filings and permit renewals.
• Immigration Support: Help gather and organize evidentiary documentation for visa petitions (H-1B, L-1, PERM) and track case status through the sponsorship lifecycle.
• Employee Relations Monitoring: Assist in the initial drafting of employee handbooks and workplace policies while tracking updates to labor statutes like FMLA, ADA, and FLSA
