Responsibilities
Broker Relationship & Strategic Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for insurance brokers, managing expectations for group life, health, and ancillary product delivery.
- Conduct regular training for brokers on product updates, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory compliance (ACA, HIPAA, ERISA).
- Lead the annual renewal strategy by negotiating terms and identifying opportunities for plan optimization or cross-selling.
- Generate and analyze monthly utilization reports to track claims trends, high-cost claimants, and pharmacy spend.
- Monitor Loss Ratios and financial performance metrics to ensure book-of-business profitability.
- Translate complex data into "Client-Ready" executive summaries, providing actionable insights for brokers to present to employer groups.
- Audit enrollment and billing data to ensure accuracy in commission reporting and premium collection.
- Manage the end-to-end implementation process for new groups, ensuring timely delivery of SBCs and enrollment materials.
- Act as the escalation point for complex claims disputes, billing discrepancies, or network access issues.
- Coordinate Open Enrollment logistics, supporting brokers with both digital platforms and onsite resources to ensure high member engagement.
