Responsibilities
Your primary goal is to ensure a seamless financial experience for our patients. Your daily tasks will include:
- Confirming eligibility and documenting comprehensive coverage details for all services.
- Leading the authorization process by collaborating with physician offices and payors to secure necessary approvals.
- Determining patient out-of-pocket costs and identifying secondary coverage or Coordination of Benefits (COB).
- Identifying and securing financial aid through copay cards, manufacturer programs, and third-party assistance.
- Billing insurance for therapies, resolving claim rejections (eligibility/coverage), and ensuring Medicare compliance (Assignment of Benefits).
- Acting as a key point of contact for inbound inquiries from patients and clinics while maintaining meticulous documentation of all interactions.
