We are seeking a proactive and engaging Administrative Assistant to manage day-to-day operations and public outreach at the World of Energy, our premier nuclear education center.

This is not a traditional behind-the-desk clerical role. We are looking for a dynamic professional who combines administrative excellence with instructional experience. The ideal candidate will be comfortable as the "face of the station," tailoring complex information about nuclear energy for diverse audiences ranging from local community stakeholders and adult tour groups to older students.



salary: $23 - $24 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Responisbilites:

• Deliver pre-approved educational presentations to visitors and organized groups.
• Adapt standardized presentations to fit the specific needs of various stakeholders, particularly older students and adult learners.
• Support signature education center events by planning logistics, managing vendors, and securing volunteers from site leadership and personnel.

Qualifications

• Proven administrative experience in a high-traffic, professional environment.
• strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days per week (24 hours).
