- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, accruals, and complex account reconciliations.
- Month-End Close: Lead the month-end and year-end close cycles, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial data is accurate.
- Fixed Assets & Inventory: Manage the depreciation schedules for fixed assets and ensure accurate tracking of inventory or capital expenditures.
- Process Optimization: Identify manual bottlenecks and implement automated solutions within the ERP system to streamline workflows.
- Audit & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure internal controls are robust and followed.
- Variance Analysis: Perform detailed budget-to-actual analysis and provide commentary on significant fluctuations to senior leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s/MAC preferred).
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; previous "Senior" level experience preferred.
- Certification: CPA or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and experience with mid-to-tier ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or Oracle).
- Communication: Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
