Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Month-End Close
• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations
• Process recurring and closing journal entries, including:
• Prepaid expenses
• Deferred revenue reviews and entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Support financial audit schedules and audit requests
• Prepare monthly reporting for internal service centers
• Assist with special projects as assigned by Controller/CFO
Expense Reporting & Credit Card Program
• Download and import weekly corporate credit card transactions
• Reconcile related clearing accounts
• Monitor and audit expense receipts for policy compliance
Compliance & Reporting
• Assist with company compliance requirements, including:
• Annual license renewals
• ISO, state licensing agencies, and industry safety standards
• Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance reports tied to contract requirements and fees
Fleet Tracking (Administrative Accounting Support)
• Maintain and update fleet assignment records
• Track tag renewal due dates
• Prepare quarterly mileage reports
Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience (general ledger & reconciliations)
• strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
• Ability to analyze large data sets and compile detailed reports
• Experience supporting audits is strongly preferred
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
