Join our client’s team to lead admin operations. You’ll bridge the gap between sales and logistics by managing driver check-ins, verifying shipping docs, and resolving inventory discrepancies.

Key Tasks:

• Manage truck receiving: Check in drivers, print paperwork, and verify load accuracy.
• Lead "Will Call": Coordinate pick-ups for major retailers and handle customer interactions.
• Oversee outbound drivers: Schedule pick-ups and ensure all delivery tickets are processed.

Responsibilities

Inbound Logistics & Receiving

• Check in drivers upon arrival and print necessary receiving paperwork.
• Direct drivers to specific drop-off locations and coordinate with the operations team to ensure loads are successfully unloaded.
• Review and compare shipping documents against receiving documents to ensure accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies and collaborate with the operations team to resolve issues immediately.
• Complete all system transactions for dropped-off loads and manage daily stock receiving reports.

Outbound Logistics & Customer Service

• Manage "Will Call" and customer pick-ups, interacting directly with customers (e.g., Lowe’s or Home Depot).
• Print delivery tickets and coordinate with the operations team to facilitate the loading of customer vehicles.
• Schedule and interact with common carriers and third-party trucks for outbound material shipments.
• Assist the branch sales team and handle direct customer interactions to ensure a high level of service.

Administrative Leadership & Inventory

• Oversee and lead administrative staff to maintain high standards of efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage physical inventories and assist with the cycle count management process.
