We are currently interviewing a contract bookkeeping expert to take full ownership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll for a strategic engagement. Responsibilities

• Oversee the full-cycle AP process, including verifying invoice accuracy, obtaining internal approvals, and managing weekly check runs or electronic ACH payments to vendors while maintaining vendor relationships.
  
  
• Manage customer billing and collections by generating accurate invoices, recording daily deposits, and proactively following up on aging accounts to ensure healthy company cash flow.
  
  
• Process accurate bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including the management of tax withholdings, benefits deductions, and year-end 1099/W-2 reporting in compliance with Texas state and federal regulations.
  
  
• Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain the general ledger to ensure all financial data is accurate and ready for the month-end close and financial statement preparation.
  
  
• Utilize cloud-based accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Sage, or NetSuite) and integrated apps to streamline workflows and ensure all records meet standard audit and tax requirements.
