Our Company is seeking a focused and proactive Production Scheduler to join our team in Londonderry, NH. This is a critical role responsible for maintaining production schedules based on customer needs while maximizing throughput across all aspects of our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities You will serve as the bridge between sales and production, ensuring our operations remain balanced and efficient.
- Schedule Development: Create and implement daily production targets and schedules.
- Sales Coordination: Partner with inside and outside sales staff to provide the quickest possible lead times for customers.
- Capacity Planning: Balance labor and machine capacity to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Process Improvement: Analyze historical data and current processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels to identify risks of shortages or overages.
- Cross-Functional Support: Work with the Purchasing team to resolve material shortages and coordinate with leadership on staffing and forecasting.
- Experience: Previous production scheduling experience is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Required proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Data Management: Ability to mine and manage data from multiple sources to create essential reports and databases.
- Operational Skills: Ability to manage multiple products, lines, and machines simultaneously.

- Experience: Proven track record in production scheduling is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel is a must. You should also be comfortable mining and managing data from multiple sources to create reports.
- Operational Ability: The capability to manage multiple products, lines, and machines simultaneously.
- Communication: strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with sales, leadership, and external vendors.
- Schedule Management: Developing and implementing daily production schedules and targets.
- Sales Partnership: Collaborating with inside and outside sales to determine the fastest possible lead times for orders throughout the day.
- Capacity Optimization: Balancing labor and machine capacity to maximize efficiency.
- Inventory & Logistics: Monitoring inventory levels to mitigate risks of shortages/overages and working with Purchasing to resolve material issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyzing historical data and scheduling processes to recommend and implement improvements.
- Reporting: Providing the leadership team with updates on production forecasting, existing orders, and operational challenges.
