Staff Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to join our finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing bank reconciliations, and assisting with the month-end close process. The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with a deep understanding of GAAP and a passion for leveraging automation to improve financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end close.
  
  
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow).
  
  
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure data integrity.
  
  
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee or assist with the processing of invoices, expense reports, and collections.
  
  
• Compliance & Audit: Ensure all financial records comply with GAAP; assist with annual audits by preparing necessary work papers and schedules.
  
  
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks using ERP tools or data visualization software (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
