The Quality Assurance Inspector supports the Build to Order process at a Plastics manufacturer Primary responsibilities include monitoring and reporting on processes and supporting improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
salary: $45,000 - $45,000.01 per year

Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Support the QMS and understand ISO 9001:2015 requirements
- Assist management in the Quality Improvement System (QIS)
- Perform Incoming Material Inspections with business system entries
- Perform First Piece Inspection
- Perform in-process inspections and test audits on product
- Document all findings accurately
- Help train plant personnel
- Follow all Safety Policies and Plant Rules
- Maintain working understanding of Quality tools
- Update records and forms
- Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel
- Communicate with personnel at all levels of the plant
Required Education / Experience / Skills
- Experience with ISO 9001:2015 (preferred)
- 2+ years Quality Assurance experience
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Ability to use & read measurement tools including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Metric measuring tapes
- Other test/inspection equipment as required
- Ability to perform dimensional inspections to drawing specifications
- Sound judgment, analytical skills, and perseverance
- Basic knowledge of statistics and sampling techniques
- Ability to interface with management and personnel throughout the organization
