What You’ll Do – Be the Bridge You’ll serve as the critical link between the vision (design) and the execution (build), ensuring every detail translates from plan to project without missing a beat. Your day-to-day will involve coordinating with architects, designers, and the construction crew to ensure everyone is rowing in the same direction.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Proven background in Construction Project Coordination, Construction Administration, or as an APM.
- Industry Knowledge: strong understanding of residential construction, specifically high-end renovations or ground-up builds.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable reading floorplans and identifying design-to-site discrepancies.
- Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction tools (Buildertrend, Procore, or CoConstruct are highly preferred).
- Soft Skills: A solid communicator who follows up, follows through, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

Responsibilities
Design & Build Team Coordination
- Collaborate with designers to understand selections, finishes, and layouts.
- Communicate design intent clearly to superintendents and subcontractors.
- Flag conflicts between plans and site realities—be the solution-finder.
- Manage pre-construction checklists, site readiness, and client walkthrough prep.
- Interpret floorplans, scopes of work, and schedules with confidence.
- Maintain detailed records: permits, change orders, contracts, and site photos.
- Update schedules in project management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, etc.).
- Keep weekly progress reports flowing to clients and stakeholders.
- Track budgets, identify overages early, and propose cost-saving solutions.
- Manage purchase orders, invoices, and job cost breakdowns.
- Work closely with the design team to align selections with client allowances.
- Order materials and finishes based on approved selections and construction timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery and site readiness—minimizing delays and surprises.
- Coordinate field support (dumpsters, utilities, inspections) to keep projects on schedule.
- Gather quotes, prepare bid comparisons, and issue work/purchase orders.
- Schedule trades, confirm readiness, and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Follow up relentlessly on RFIs, approvals, and outstanding items.
