Qualifications & Experience
- Industry Background: Typically 2–4 years of experience within an insurance agency or carrier environment.
- Contact Center Expertise: Prior experience in a call center or contact center environment is strongly preferred.
- Licensing: Must possess or be able to secure and maintain appropriate state insurance licenses and continuing education credits.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in MS Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, and the ability to navigate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.
- Critical Thinking: Proven ability to independently identify obstacles and develop solutions within department service level guidelines.
- Communication: Highly developed written and verbal communication skills with a positive, patient attitude.
- Consultative Communication: Uses technical expertise to influence and advise partners effectively.
- Accountability: Proactively identifies future obstacles and takes action to address them.
- Problem Solving: Thinks critically to recognize and solve problems with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities
- Consultative Service: Conduct comprehensive account reviews via inbound/outbound calls and digital channels to explain products and offer coverages that meet specific policyholder needs.
- Expert Underwriting: Make informed decisions using established underwriting guidelines and procedures for all licensed states.
- Account Growth: Recommend additional or increased coverage where appropriate to enhance the client’s value proposition.
- Precision Documentation: Independently verify data and document every interaction across multiple systems with accuracy and concision.
- Regulatory Stewardship: Maintain strict compliance with state and federal regulations while upholding the highest standards of trustworthiness.
- Operational Excellence: Adhere to workforce management schedules, with approximately 90% of the day dedicated to phone-based consultation.
