Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight: Direct the entire month-end closure and assist in the creation of comprehensive yearly and quarterly financial statements.
- Quality Control: Execute detailed reviews of staff work, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supplementary schedules to ensure deadline adherence and accuracy.
- Audit & Compliance: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audits, ensuring full alignment with SOX standards and SEC filing requirements.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current reconciliation and closing workflows to identify and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and data integrity.
- Team Development: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional mentorship of accounting personnel to foster career growth within the department.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate strong working relationships with various departments, including IT, Legal, Procurement, and Operations, to support organizational goals
