Randstad is seeking a high-level Accounting Manager to join the team of an admired restaraunt group in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This leadership role reports to the Director of Accounting and is responsible for driving the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles to guarantee the precision of all financial reports. This ia direct hire, permanent opportunity offering a salary + full benefits and extras such as a free gym membership and casual work environment.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Direct the entire month-end closure and assist in the creation of comprehensive yearly and quarterly financial statements.
• Quality Control: Execute detailed reviews of staff work, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supplementary schedules to ensure deadline adherence and accuracy.
• Audit & Compliance: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audits, ensuring full alignment with SOX standards and SEC filing requirements.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate current reconciliation and closing workflows to identify and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and data integrity. 
• Team Development: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional mentorship of accounting personnel to foster career growth within the department. 
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Cultivate strong working relationships with various departments, including IT, Legal, Procurement, and Operations, to support organizational goals
