Your Impact & Opportunities

• Innovate with Data: Lead the transition of our data infrastructure from SQL to Snowflake, optimizing how we handle large-scale risk datasets.
  
  
• Visualize the Future: Architect and develop an accessible CAT loss forecast visualization dashboard using ArcGIS to provide real-time insights into potential environmental impacts.
  
  
• Strategic Support: Act as a critical liaison for the Concentration of Risk (CoR) quarterly framework, performing peer reviews of complex reports and ensuring meticulous data integrity.
  
  
• Research & Develop: Pioneer new concepts like CoR metric projections and collaborate on strategies to mitigate evolving organizational risks.
  
  

What You Bring

• Actuarial Foundation: A background in actuarial science is highly valued; we value your practical expertise and analytical mindset over the number of exams passed.
  
  
• Technical Toolkit: Proficiency in SQL and Excel is essential for querying complex data and organizing research into actionable conclusions.
  
  
• Geospatial Expertise: Proven experience building dashboards with visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS) to map risk and exposure.
  
  
• Meticulous Detail: High attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex data points into clear narratives.
  
  
• Preferred (But Not Mandatory): Familiarity with climate risk, meteorology, or CAT modeling software.
