Responsibilities
As a Production Manager, you serve as the central nervous system of a manufacturing facility, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of a product from raw materials to the finished goods. Your day-to-day involves planning and organising production schedules, ensuring that all machinery is maintained, and managing a workforce to meet strict output targets. You must balance the scales of quality control, ensuring every unit meets company standards, and budgetary oversight, keeping operational costs and waste to a minimum. Beyond the technical floor management, you act as a vital link between departments—collaborating with procurement for supplies, sales for forecasting, and HR for staffing—all while maintaining a rigorous culture of safety and compliance with industry regulations.
