We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Dispatcher to join our team in Hicksville. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our field personnel (drivers/technicians) and our customers. Your goal is to ensure maximum efficiency, route optimization, and high-level customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour

work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Routing: Coordinate daily schedules and assign tasks to field staff based on location, urgency, and skill set.
  
  
• Communication: Act as the "central hub" for all inbound calls from customers and outbound radio/phone traffic to field units.
  
  
• Tracking: Monitor GPS tracking systems to ensure on-time arrivals and provide real-time updates to clients.
  
  
• Problem Solving: Adjust routes and schedules on the fly to account for heavy Long Island traffic, vehicle breakdowns, or weather delays.
  
  
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all service calls, delivery receipts, and driver hours in our dispatch software.
