Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products
- Measure and test products using basic inspection tools and equipment
- Identify defects and record inspection results accurately
- Report quality issues to supervisors or quality engineers
- Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety guidelines
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed
- Maintain clean and organized inspection areas
Qualifications:
- Preferred but not required: Two-year degree in quality or manufacturing or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of quality standards and inspection methods
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, or work instructions
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills
- Skills:
- Basic measurement and inspection skills (Calipers, Micrometers, measurement tools)
- Good communication and teamwork
- Problem-solving ability
- Time management and reliability
