- Strategic Oversight: Perform ongoing supervision of business controls, evaluating effectiveness and sharing insights to strengthen the overall environment.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Anticipate business needs and translate control deficiencies into actionable plans to enhance governance practices.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with stakeholders and lead project teams through the execution of timely risk remediation and control design.
- Expert Advisement: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, escalating critical findings and ensuring unwavering compliance with laws and regulations.
- Audit Expertise: 3–6 years of proven experience in Control Testing or Internal Audit.
- Industry Knowledge: 1–3 years of experience within the Insurance or Financial Services sector.
- Tech Acumen: 1–3 years of experience with technology acumen, specifically for testing automation.
- Core Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel), Zoom, Box, and Service Now for documentation and evidence management.
- Analytical Mindset: Deep understanding of Test of Design (ToD) and Test of Operating Effectiveness (ToE) to conclude on control strength.
