Responsibilities
What You'll Do
- Prescreen new applicants, initiate electronic applications, and assign files to the Credentialing Team to ensure a rapid and accurate start to the provider journey.
- Manage application payment processing (IDT and checks), oversee deposits, and navigate the MSOW database to perform queries and essential data cleanup.
- Support Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals through change-of-status requests, campus transfers, and sponsorship updates.
- Coordinate scheduling for Department Chair orientations and produce critical meeting materials for the Credentials Committee and Allied Health Review Panel.
- Manage department mail, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory to ensure the office runs at peak efficiency.
- Prior experience in a medical staff services office or a hospital environment; familiarity with credentialing software.
- Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) designation. (Preferred)
- Associate’s degree in Secretarial Sciences, Business, or a related field.
