In this role, you will be the engine behind the agency’s public and private support. You’ll manage a robust grant portfolio—ranging from complex federal and state contracts to private foundation awards—ensuring that the mission remains fully funded and operational. We are looking for a meticulous professional who can transform data and program success into compelling narratives, manage strict compliance timelines, and build lasting relationships with funding partners.

Key Qualifications
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Proven Track Record: At least 2 years of experience in grant research and writing with a demonstrated history of successful awards.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Microsoft Office is essential; experience with The Raiser’s Edge database is highly preferred.
- Compliance Ready: Must be able to pass a comprehensive Level-2 background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report.
- Write & Win: Draft persuasive proposals for diverse funding streams.
- Compliance & Reporting: Manage the lifecycle of grants, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Strategize: Research new opportunities to expand the agency’s reach and impact.
- Collaborate: Work within a dedicated team to hit annual fundraising milestones.

Responsibilities
- Grant Writing & Submission: Draft and submit high-quality, persuasive proposals for federal, state, and local government grants, as well as private foundations.
- Grant Reporting: Coordinate the reporting process, ensuring all performance metrics and impact data are submitted accurately and on time to maintain funder compliance.
- Pipeline Research: Proactively identify and research new funding opportunities to expand the agency’s public and private support portfolio.
- Timeline Management: Manage a strict calendar of application and reporting deadlines to ensure no funding opportunities are missed.
- Content Creation: Develop compelling narratives that align Hubbard House’s mission with grantor objectives, effectively communicating the agency's impact.
- Relationship Building: Attend relevant grantor meetings and foster positive relationships with current and prospective funding partners.
- Database Oversight: Maintain meticulous records in Blackbaud’s The Raiser’s Edge to track grant statuses, deadlines, and donor communications.
- Materials Coordination: Compile and organize all required supplemental documentation, including budgets, board lists, and legal certifications.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the Development Team to support broader fundraising goals and public awareness initiatives.
