As the AP Manager, you will oversee the full cycle of the accounts payable function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments. You will lead a small team, refine existing workflows, and serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors. This is an Interim role with an opportunity to convert to permanent. 

salary: $40 - $43 per hour

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the AP staff, ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and deadlines (like month-end close) are met.
  
  
• Process Improvement: Evaluate current AP workflows and implement "best practice" enhancements to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  
  
• Disbursement Management: Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
  
  
• Vendor Relations: Resolve high-level escalated discrepancies and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
  
  
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure 1099 maintenance, sales and use tax compliance, and provide detailed aging reports to the Controller.
  
  
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
