Responsibilities
- Oversee the lifecycle of litigation cases and large-scale projects, ensuring meticulous organization, retrieval, and production of documents.
- Draft and finalize a variety of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, contracts, and trial binders specifically tailored for the Construction Service Group.
- Assemble and manage evidentiary materials, including preparing and indexing exhibits for depositions and court proceedings.
- Support attorneys by conducting preliminary case research and verifying citations and footnotes for accuracy.
- Utilize litigation support software to ensure the systematic indexing, filing, and digital organization of all legal records.
- Facilitate the monthly billing and invoicing process by tracking attorney time entries and coordinating directly with the accounting department.
- Handle day-to-day operational tasks, including maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and managing routine correspondence to ensure the office runs efficiently.
- Represent the firm with professionalism while communicating case updates and coordinating appointments with clients and third parties.
