Responsibilities
- Process, code, and review vendor invoices for accuracy and proper job cost classification, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and contract terms.
- Maintain detailed project cost accounting records & track project costs against budgets, reconciling job cost details to the general ledger.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to construction and development activities.
- Reconcile WIP and other project-related balance sheet accounts.
- Roll forward and maintain lien waiver and lien release trackers, and coordinate with lenders, title companies, and construction teams to clear outstanding draw conditions.
- Monitor retainage balances and ensure proper release in accordance with loan agreements and contract terms.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing project schedules and providing supporting documentation.
- Misc. other duties and/or projects, as needed
