Randstad is partnering with a pharmaceutical company in Boca Raton to recruit a high-caliber Manager of SEC Reporting. This leadership role is based 100% on-site and designed for a candidate that will spearhead the preparation of quarterly and annual filings while serving as the primary authority on technical accounting analysis and internal financial reporting. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity offering a full benefits package in addition to base salary that is not open to consultants at this time.

Responsibilities

• SEC Filings: Direct the timely and precise preparation of Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
• Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all SEC regulations, GAAP standards, and SOX internal controls.
• Technical Research: Perform in-depth research on GAAP, SEC, and PCAOB developments to implement new accounting standards and maintain company policies.
• Strategic Drafting: Collaborate with legal and operational teams to draft business descriptions, risk factors, and MD&A sections for public filings.
• Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors regarding supporting schedules and tie-out procedures.
• Earnings & Proxy Support: Lead the review of quarterly earnings releases and assist in the preparation of the annual Proxy Statement.
• Data Integrity: Manage the accuracy of XBRL tagging and oversee the maintenance of equity records.
• Operational Synergy: Interface extensively with the general ledger, tax, and legal departments to support diverse business initiatives.

Qualifications: 

• Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm AND prior experience at a public company are both strictly required.
• CPA highly preferred
