- Champion Employee Success: Serve as a trusted advocate, providing essential policy and benefits information to associates, ensuring their needs are heard and addressed.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Lead the resolution of employee issues, expertly conducting thorough investigations, analyzing concerns, and delivering critical, policy-compliant conversations. This is a key area of focus for the role.
- Ensure Legal Integrity: Directly assist in developing and implementing HR policies to ensure strict compliance with all federal and state employment laws.
- Guide Management: Provide expert counsel and guidance to management and supervisory staff on sensitive personnel matters, including fair employment practices, discipline, and performance management.
- Drive Performance Excellence: Oversee and monitor the performance management process, providing hands-on training and guidance to managers to ensure effective and equitable evaluations.
- Review and Uphold Standards: Critically review performance evaluations and termination recommendations to maintain compliance and fairness across the organization.
- Shape the Workforce: Actively assist with recruitment efforts, managing the job posting program to attract and secure top talent for Topre America.
- Facilitate Key Training: Organize and lead essential management and staff training sessions on topics such as sexual harassment, Drug-Free Workplace policies, FMLA, and other required regulatory and internal policy reviews.
- Boost Associate Morale: Plan and coordinate engaging company-sponsored employee events that actively contribute to maintaining a positive and highly motivated associate environment.
- Maintain Safety: Proactively support a safe and healthy work environment by consistently promoting and reinforcing company safety policies and rules.
- Support HR Operations: Complete essential monthly KPI Reports, manage the development of new job descriptions, and coordinate responses to unemployment claims, including attending appeals hearings.
