Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Processing: Manage the end-to-end processing of [Weekly/Bi-weekly/Monthly] payroll for [Number] employees across [Single/Multiple] states.
- Compliance & Tax: Ensure all payroll activities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including tax filings, garnishments, and year-end reporting (W-2s).
- Data Integrity: Audit time-tracking records, benefits deductions, and salary adjustments to ensure 100% accuracy before disbursement.
- Employee Support: Serve as the subject matter expert for employee questions regarding paychecks, tax withholdings, and payroll policies.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and streamline payroll workflows and systems to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in high-volume payroll processing.
- Software: Proficiency in payroll platforms such as [ADP, Paylocity, Workday, or UKG] and solid skills in Microsoft Excel.
