We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join a growing lighting manufacturing team in Sanford, FL. This role is designed for someone who can oversee essential accounting functions while maintaining the high level of accuracy required. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of financial transactions, from managing 3-way matching in Accounts Payable to overseeing Accounts Receivable and ensuring all Bank and Account Reconciliations are flawless. The ideal candidate is an Excel expert who thrives on process improvement and can leverage ERP systems to produce timely Financial Statements that drives business forward.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Oversee and execute general accounting functions, including the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
  
  
• Full-Cycle AP/AR: Manage the complete Accounts Payable process using 3-way matching (Purchase Order to Receiving Report to Invoice) and oversee all Accounts Receivable billing and collections.
  
  
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations to ensure 100% data integrity.
  
  
• Audit Support: Maintain organized records and documentation to support year-end audits and internal financial reviews.
  
  
• ERP Management: Maintain and update financial data within the company ERP system, ensuring seamless integration between production and accounting.
  
  
• Inventory Oversight: Collaborate with the production team in Sanford to ensure inventory costs are accurately reflected in the financial records.
