What You’ll Do
- Support the Front Lines: Act as the primary point of contact for drivers and clients, resolving delivery issues in real-time to ensure freight stays on schedule.
- Master the Logistics: Learn the "ins and outs" of freight management, from coordinating appointment freight to pulling pickups and managing dispatch data.
- Bridge the Gap: Work closely with our warehouse and dispatch teams in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where clear, direct communication is the key to success.
- Problem Solve & Manage OS&D: Take ownership of "Overages, Shortages, and Damages." You’ll troubleshoot shipping discrepancies and handle returns with a focus on reliability and accuracy.
- Technical Documentation: Process inbound paperwork and manifests using Peachtree and TMS software, ensuring every detail is accounted for.

Responsibilities
- Freight & Logistics Coordination: You will manage appointment freight, oversee account operations, and coordinate with dispatch by pulling pickups from the system.
- Data Entry & Documentation: You will accurately process inbound paperwork and manifest data into Peachtree and TMS (Transportation Management Systems).
- Customer Support: You will serve as a primary point of contact, answering incoming calls to resolve issues promptly and professionally for both internal teams and external clients.
- Exception & OS&D Management: You will handle "Overages, Shortages, and Damages" (OS&D), including refusals, returns, and re-consignments, ensuring all discrepancies are documented and escalated.
- Administrative Compliance: You will monitor undelivered freight reports and track the expiration of Certificates of Insurance (COI) to ensure operational compliance.
