- Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. Significant experience may be considered in lieu of formal degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven success in grant writing and prospect research.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM) is highly preferred.
- Attributes: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; a high degree of organization; and the ability to manage competing deadlines with precision.
- Background Check: Due to the sensitive nature of our work, candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive background screening (including criminal history, motor vehicle records, and drug/health screenings).
- Mobility: Must hold a valid driver's license, reliable personal transportation, proof of insurance and updated registration, and demonstrate a consistent history of safe driving to comply with organizational insurance protocols.

Responsibilities
- Pipeline Management: Oversee the full grant application and reporting calendar for federal, state, local government, and private foundation awards.
- Content Creation: Draft compelling proposals, letters of intent, and impact reports that articulate the agency’s mission and results.
- Relationship Building: Act as a liaison with grantors, attending necessary meetings and ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met.
- Strategic Research: Proactively identify and vet new funding opportunities to diversify and grow the agency’s revenue streams.
