Key Responsibilities
- Project Lifecycle Management: Oversee customer settlement accounts and maintain comprehensive project records, including freight, processing invoices, and final reconciliations.
- Job Costing & Analysis: Verify, allocate, and post AP/AR by project. Perform rigorous variance analysis to identify discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
- Financial Reporting: Produce accurate project-level financial reports by consolidating data from NetSuite and CRM systems.
- General Ledger & Close: Support month-end and year-end close processes; post transactions to the GL and ensure project accuracy across the board.
- Contract & Compliance: Evaluate B2B customer contract terms to ensure billing and settlements align with agreed-upon deliverables and GAAP.
- Process Improvement: Develop and document internal controls and accounting policies, specifically aimed at integrating recent acquisitions into our financial ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the financial point of contact for sales and operational teams to resolve billing issues and follow up on project deliverables.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- Experience: 3–5 years in Project Accounting with a specific focus on Job Cost Accounting.
- Industry Background: Experience in Construction, Installation, or Facility Services is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: * Hands-on experience with NetSuite is required.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Nested IFs, and complex data modeling).

- Analytical Rigor: Exceptional ability to perform reconciliations and identify financial anomalies before they impact the bottom line.
