Responsibilities
- Executive Communications: Research, write, and edit high-priority content for the President, including talking points, event remarks, and internal leadership announcements.
- Media Outreach: Draft and pitch news releases, media alerts, and tip sheets to secure regional, national, and international coverage.
- Digital Strategy: Create engaging social media content (specifically for X/Twitter and other platforms) and utilize analytics tools to track engagement and reach.
- Expert Management: Assist in booking university experts for print, broadcast, and digital interviews, and maintain the university’s "Experts" site and digital Newsroom.
- Administrative Support: Ensure all communications are polished, fact-checked, and aligned with the university’s mission and brand voice.
