Our Client is seeking a controller for a smaller sized manufacturing company.  This individual should be able to pivot and juggle hats with a smaller team environment that is looking to expand evenue by 100% by 2030 and help manage the growth.  There will be two direct reports and benefits are eligible on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment which includes medical, life, long term disablity, and 401K.  

salary: $95,000 - $140,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Analysis

• Financial statement review and analysis.
• Various financial and operational analyses.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for parent company by production location.
• Provide board meeting financial information.
• Forecasting and projections.
• Accruals for taxes, commissions, and other items.
• Product costing 
• Develop methods to track gross margins on projects.

• Calculate sales engineer commissions based on territory gross margins.
• Manage monthly COGS and integration within ERP
• Monthly inventory reconciliation including inventory in transit.
• Review payroll.
• Support integration between QBO and ProAlpha.
• Review and approve bills prior to entry into QBO.
• Manage bank relationships.
• Approve and send wires.
• Sales tax compliance.
• Handle government and state agency matters.
• Manage insurance and COIs.
• Prepare annual report filings.
• Work with external CPAs.Monthly invoice to RSC for intercompany charges.
• Support parent company and related functions.
• Review terms and conditions with CEO as needed.
• Track building and capital projects including variance to budget.
• Provide financial oversight for company initiatives.
