Accounts Payable Coordinator Temp-to-hire opportunity for an Accounts Payable professional who enjoys working for a collaborative, team-oriented company. Well-established and well-known Commercial Services Organization. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable with strong organizational skills and a high level of attention-to-detail.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Main Duties:

• Review and verify invoices and check requests
• Process invoices and expense reports for payment
• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
• Process and review purchase orders and verify accuracy
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues
• Maintain vendor files and file processed invoices
• Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
• Assist with month end closing and support external audit
• Provide certain supporting documentation for audits

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years’ accounts payable experience
• NetSuite, MS Dynamics, JD Edwards or other
• Organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to meet deadlines with a high attention-to-detail and accuracy
• Experience posting AP entries to the GL is a plus, not a must
• Driven, dedicated and eager to continue to grow, learn new things and have a career in accounting
• Intermediate Excel skills
