This isn't just a data-entry position. We need a technical specialist who understands the intricate DNA of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process. You will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business accounts, ensuring seamless flow between requisitions, purchase orders, and final payments while maintaining gold-standard accuracy.
Key Technical Responsibilities As our resident Coupa Expert, you will dive deep into the system to manage complex workflows:
- GR/IR Variance Management: Run GR-IR variance reports, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement solutions.
- PO Lifecycle Management: Create, view, and analyze Purchase Order history; determine PO status (open/closed); and identify buyers for swift resolution of issues.
- Advanced Line-Item Analysis: View and explain various configurations including:
- Control Setups: GR/IR, GR-Based-IV, IR-Only, and GR-Non Val (split cost centers).
- Pricing/Quantity: 1-to-1 ratios and price per UOM.
- Scheduling Agreements: Access and interpret complex conditions.
- Control Setups: GR/IR, GR-Based-IV, IR-Only, and GR-Non Val (split cost centers).
- Reporting & Troubleshooting: Run targeted reports to capture blocked or "unpostable" invoices and navigate back to original requisitions to resolve bottlenecks.
- Education: College degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- Systems Expertise: High proficiency in Coupa is required. You must understand the flow of invoices and how data translates from a requisition to a financial report.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to perform root-cause analysis on financial variances rather than just identifying the error.
- Communication: Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain complex accounting setups to non-financial stakeholders.
- Certifications (Preferred): CAPA (Certified Accounts Payable Associate) or CAPP (Certified Accounts Payable Professional) is a plus.
