- Cost Analysis & Control: Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials, labor, and overhead. Perform variance analysis to identify and explain differences between actual costs and standard costs.
- Inventory Management: Oversee cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure accurate inventory valuation and minimize "shrink."
- Margin Analysis: Analyze product profitability and provide insights into which product lines are driving growth and which are underperforming.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and monthly forecasts, specifically focusing on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
- Process Improvement: Identify "bottlenecks" or inefficiencies in the manufacturing process and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management, translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas).
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).

- Analytical Mindset: Ability to look at a spreadsheet and see the physical reality of the factory floor.
