The Impact You Will Make As our Production Planner, you will take ownership of the workflow to maximize efficiency and eliminate delays. You will:
- Orchestrate the Schedule: Align production timelines with customer demand and internal milestones.
- Resource Strategist: Forecast labor, equipment, and material needs to ensure every production cycle is set up for success.
- Problem Solver: Monitor progress in real-time, identifying bottlenecks and implementing agile solutions before they impact the bottom line.
- Collaborative Leader: Work across departments—from procurement to logistics—to ensure material availability and transparent communication.
- Continuous Improvement Champion: Use data to reduce waste, maintain visual planning boards, and participate in 5S and standardization initiatives.
- Experience: At least 2 years in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency in ERP systems, production software, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical Mindset: An ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and quality metrics to make informed decisions.
- Interpersonal Strength: A team-oriented approach with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
Adaptability: The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced setting where you may need to manage variables with limited standardization.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends or evenings as needed to meet production goals.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setting, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

- Operational Scheduling: Align manufacturing timelines with client requirements and internal benchmarks to ensure consistent output.
- Workflow Optimization: Strategic mapping of daily operations to enhance throughput and mitigate operational downtime.
- Resource Allocation: Forecast and secure necessary staffing, raw materials, and machinery for upcoming cycles.
- Agile Monitoring: Track real-time progress, implementing corrective actions to resolve bottlenecks or schedule deviations.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Partner with procurement, design, warehousing, and logistics to stabilize the supply chain and material flow.
- Data Integrity: Oversee the maintenance of visual management tools, production logs, and comprehensive operational reporting.
- Process Improvement: Utilize data analytics to identify inefficiencies, reduce scrap, and refine existing workflows.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide clear, timely updates regarding schedule pivots to all impacted departments.
- Quality & Safety Oversight: Investigate quality variances to determine root causes; champion a safety-first environment through strict protocol adherence.
- Lean Initiatives: Actively contribute to 5S programs, standardization efforts, and continuous improvement projects.
