This is a physically demanding position. To be successful, you must meet the following:
- Stamina: You will be on your feet standing and walking for the full 8-hour shift.
- Strength: Ability to lift, bend, and move up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: good attendance is critical. Note: The local bus stop ceases operation after 6:00 PM. You must have a reliable means of travel to and from the center.
- Detail-Oriented: A "sharp eye" for quality checks in a high-volume environment.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities
- Primary Function (Sorter): High-speed sorting of mail pieces to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Shipping & Labeling: Creating accurate shipping labels for USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
- Quality Control: Checking mail pieces against standard operating procedures to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Handwork: Organizing items, stapling packets, and stuffing envelopes as needed.
- Line Breakdown: Preparing trays and mail for final entry into the USPS system.
