Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver who excels at managing supply chains? We're looking for a Materials Planner to join one of our clients located in east Memphis. In this role, you'll manage inventory, forecast demand, and work with different teams to keep materials flowing smoothly. You'll use your analytical skills to track shipments and find ways to improve  processes. If you have a couple of years of materials planning  and inventory experience, know your way around an ERP systems and Excel, we want to talk to you.

salary: $20 - $22 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

• Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Expedite and track shipments, ensuring timely follow-up with transportation teams and keeping leadership updated on any delays through data analysis.
  
  
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Excel to analyze data and create reports that track shipments and monitor back-orders, helping to support daily and weekly production plans.
  
  
• Operational Support: Regularly use relevant systems for data entry and administrative tasks. Maintain email communication with internal teams and external partners.
  
  
• Process Improvement: Participate in projects focused on enhancing material and inventory processes, optimizing distribution flow, onboarding new customers, and reducing freight costs.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Education: An Associate's degree in supply chain, business, or a related field is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  
  
• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in materials or inventory planning is a must.
  
  
• Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required, including the ability to perform V-lookups, X-lookups, and pivot tables.
