Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, and repair on molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment.
- Production Support: Handle machine startups, shutdowns, mold changes, resin changes, and purging.
- Troubleshooting: Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot molding and machine problems.
- Quality & Safety: Monitor equipment, check product quality, and verify all machine safety functions. Adhere to company, OSHA, and environmental policies, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Documentation: Complete all required records, documentation, and reports.
- Teamwork: Assist with production and new product trials.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Prior experience in injection molding and mold maintenance/repair is essential Solid background in a precision machine environment may also be considered.
- Technical Aptitude: Must have solid mechanical, electrical, and technical skills. Ability to read and understand basic blueprints, equipment manuals, and drawings. Proficiency with precision measurement instruments and various maintenance tools is required.
- Soft Skills: Must be a positive, cooperative team player with the ability to work carefully in a precision environment. Must be flexible and willing to contribute innovative ideas.
