We are seeking a technician with a dedication to precision and a background in complex electronic systems:
- 5+ years of direct relevant technical experience with electronic systems, including analog, digital, and RF sub-systems.
- Prior experience supporting/maintaining Northrop, Lockheed, or Raytheon radar systems or defense electronics is highly encouraged.
- Experience with retrofitting and updating old architecture with new technology to extend product lifespan.
- Proficiency in AC/DC circuits, RF, and digital electronics.
- Familiarity with Voltage, Resistance, Ohm's Law, Magnetism, Capacitance, and Inductance.
- Knowledge of series and parallel circuits, transformers, transistors, and amplifiers.
- An understanding of radar systems and components is beneficial.
- Meticulous attention to detail in following processes and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to recommending process improvements.
- A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous learning.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Preferred: Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) or higher.
- Equivalent work or military experience is also considered.
- Experience in radar electronics troubleshooting and repair is advantageous.
- Veteran with technical experience is valued.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Electronics Technician, you will apply your skills in electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering, mathematics, and mechanics to:
- Perform standard or custom testing processes following acceptance test procedures (ATPs).
- Record and analyze test results to identify issues and ensure quality.
- Utilize various test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, VNA, and signal generators.
- Apply principles of electronics to diagnose and repair radar components.
- Use tools such as soldering irons, bench drills, and other equipment to repair and manufacture parts, including coils, terminal boards, cable assemblies, and chassis.
- Execute surface mount assembly and rework of printed circuit boards.
- Document all repairs and testing procedures meticulously.
- Adhere to company policies, industry best practices, and meet IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-STD-001 standards.
- Participate in quality processes, methods, and procedures, ensuring exceptional build and repair quality.
- Develop system block diagrams, BOM (Bill of Materials) generation, flow charts, testing, and acceptance criteria documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Recommend changes to ATPs and specifications to simplify and improve testing processes.
- Check the functionality of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
