We are seeking a Bench Carpenter / Cabinet Assembler to join a busy millwork and cabinetry shop in Fairfield, NJ. This full-time, on-site role focuses on assembling high-quality cabinets and millwork from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Assemble cabinets and millwork
- Measure and cut materials accurately
- Use hand and power tools
- Operate case clamps
- Inspect assembled parts for quality
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow project specifications
- Handle materials safely
- Work independently and with a team
- 2+ years of cabinet assembly, millwork, or woodworking experience
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Organized, reliable, and able to complete tasks without direct supervision
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
salary: $52,000 - $72,800 per year
