Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to overseeing and optimizing our entire supply chain and logistics operations. This is a critical role responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from origin to destination, ultimately impacting our customer satisfaction and bottom line.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for the planning, direction, and coordination of all logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution. This individual will lead a team of logistics professionals and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain. The successful candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of improving logistical processes and performance.

 

salary: $65,000 - $70,000 per year

work hours: 12 AM - 8 AM

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve performance and reduce costs.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics team to achieve operational goals.
• Oversee all warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound transportation.
• Manage relationships with carriers and 3PL providers, negotiating rates and ensuring compliance.
• Analyze performance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of logistics experience, including at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in logistics software WMS backgrounds (Manhattan, Red Prairie, Softeon, Oracle, Blue Yonder, SAP) .
• 3PL experience
