Hello, NOW HIRING- DIRECT HIRE  Parts Room/Inventory Clerk  A food manufacturing company in Bolingbrook, IL is currently looking for a Parts Room / Inventory Clerk.  This position is responsible for Stocking the parts rooms; for the Maintenance Mechanics, Keeping accurate counts, ordering Parts, working with vendors,  Must have experience working in the role and be Microsoft proficient, as you are working with Computer system, Excel sheets, Emails, Etc. 

• Parts Room organizer
• Inventory Management  ( ordering parts / Keeping parts stocked)
• Daily/ Weekly/ Monthly/ quarterly counts
• working with Maintenance Mechanics, ordering parts  
• Create PO's for new parts/ Service 
• Microsoft Knowledge: Excel / Word / PDF/ emails  
• Contact vendor / obtain parts quotes 
• Parts return to vendor 
• GMP environment / Hot and Cold Environment

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Parts Clerk will be responsible for the oversight of the Maintenance Parts Room and inventory of the Maintenance Department. The parts clerk must have the ability to navigate through the maintenance CMMS system for inventory, PM's and variety of equipment.

1. Receive, inspect and store incoming parts, tools and supplies.
2. Maintain accurate records of inventory using the maintenance CMMS
3. Issue parts and supplies to the maintenance technicians as needed.
4. Coordinate with the MRO BUYER for returns and reorders.
5 Assist with tracking and reporting maintenance related cost.
6. Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
7. Put away any parts returned back to the parts room and update the quantities back into the system.
8. Remove trash empty boxes and unserviceable parts.
