Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair complex issues on production equipment, including stamping presses, CNC machines, robotic welders, and conveyor systems. This includes mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance. This involves inspecting, cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as necessary.
- System Diagnostics: Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and mechanical blueprints to identify and resolve issues. Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), drives, and motors.
- Fabrication: Use machine shop tools, welders, and fabrication equipment to create or repair parts needed for machinery.
- Facility Upkeep: Maintain essential facility systems, such as compressed air, HVAC, and lighting, to support the production environment.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
